    How can Generative AI tools reflect diverse cultural contexts?

    To explore this question, this cross-market study combined trend research, user interviews, and in-context immersions to understand how people evaluate, trust, and feel represented in AI-generated imagery.

    The work produced a playbook on fairness, representation, and trust that informs inclusive product design and ethical policies for YouTube’s GenAI features.

  • GIZ's Innovation Radar Platform

    How can emerging technologies empower sustainable development?

    TechDetector, GIZ’s innovation radar platform, was built to turn complex tech signals into clear insight on their real-world impact.

    Its outputs have shaped GIZ’s innovation roadmaps and earned the Innovation for Gender Equality Award at the 2021 Paris Peace Forum.

    VIRA is an online course on how to drive innovation using behaviour and technology trends, sustainability impact analyses and future scenarios. It was created in partnership with Perestroika and is available in Portuguese.

    UNESCO considers futures literacy - the ability to invent and adapt as changes occur - a critical competency for the 21st Century. As one of their initiatives, they hold the Futures Literacy Summit, in which I've contributed with a series of workshops, roundtables, and masterclasses.
